Chef/Culinary Manager

The Culinary Manager works directly with volunteers to provide well-balanced meals for families staying at our Atlanta Ronald McDonald Houses. Utilizing his or her culinary and leadership skills, the Culinary Manager is responsible for the overall success of our new Chef-lead meal program, including its implementation while creating nutritional meals for guest families, and worthwhile and rewarding experiences for meal volunteers.

Digital Content Coordinator

The Digital Content Coordinator is critical to the success of the Charity’s marketing communications goals. This position has a vital storytelling role, responsible for creating and maintaining content on armhc.org and all social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn to explain our mission and its impact. In addition, this role is responsible for tracking results in real time and interpreting analytics to maximize engagement. Accuracy, attention to detail, discretion and the ability to maintain confidentiality of donor and Charity information, flexibility, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and a passion for Atlanta RMHC and its mission are required. This position reports to the Digital Marketing Manager.

Fall Remote Marketing and Communication Intern

The marketing & communications intern plays a supportive role to the organization’s donor engagement and storytelling needs. This position is focused on content creation and assists with the planning, development and execution of the digital marketing strategy; including creative, social media analysis and research of market trends. Strong writing skills are required with video and graphic design skills (Adobe Creative Suite and iMovie) preferred. Minimum of 20 weeks at 15-25 hours a week is required. This paid internship is designed for undergraduate students or recent college graduates. This virtual position will be done remotely until further notice.

Fall Family and Volunteer Services Intern

The Family and Volunteer Services Intern plays a supportive role to the House Managers and Volunteer Services Team. This position will assist in all aspects of assisting families staying at our House as well as managing, recruiting and training volunteers. Additional responsibilities will include but are not limited to: assisting our House team with family check-ins, attending special events, database entry, and administrative duties.

Being a nonclinical facility, our internships do not provide students with medical related or counseling opportunities. Our mission is to nurture the health and well-being of children and families through other forms of support, comfort, and activities.

Minimum of 10 weeks full or part-time is preferred. This unpaid internship is designed for undergraduate students or recent college graduates. School credit may be applied for this internship.
