As part of our commitment to the continued safety of our guests, the families we serve, team members, and Charity volunteers, and in ongoing efforts to protect our community in preventing the spread of COVID-19, we are planning to implement the following enhanced protocols and procedures at the 2022 Golf Classic:

  • After consulting with medical experts and abiding by CDC Guidelines, for everyone’s safety, we respectfully ask that all in-person guests be fully vaccinated and up-to-date on such vaccinations as defined by the CDC (including any booster dose(s) when eligible). For more information on what it means to be up-to-date on your COVID-19 vaccine, please visit the CDC’s website at cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/vaccines/stay-up-to-date.html.
  • All in-person guests will be asked a series of health and wellness screening questions (including requesting an affirmation of one’s vaccination status) as well as have their temperature checked prior to entering the event.
  • While being outside is a safer environment to host gatherings, we encourage all guests to wear a mask when not eating or drinking.
  • We will have hand sanitizing products available and high touch areas will be frequently disinfected.
  • Charity staff and volunteers will be masked for the full duration of the event.
  • If you or anyone in your party is experiencing COVID symptoms or has been exposed to COVID-19, please reference the CDC resources at cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/your-health/quarantine-isolation.html to determine your isolation and/or quarantine timeline.

SPECIAL NOTICE REGARDING COVID-19 RISKS AND PRECAUTIONS

COVID-19 is a contagious pandemic, and the CDC and other public health authorities recommend social distancing and other measures to help reduce the chances of catching or spreading this disease. Attending any gathering or event could increase your chances of contracting coronavirus, even if you are vaccinated and are up-to-date on your vaccinations. To attend the 2022 Golf Classic in-person, Atlanta Ronald McDonald House Charities requires that you commit to taking the following safety precautions to protect yourself, other attendees, and the community at large:

  • Only attend if you are fully vaccinated and up-to-date on your vaccinations as defined by the CDC (including any booster dose(s) when eligible); for more information on what it means to be up-to-date on your COVID-19 vaccine, please visit the CDC’s website at cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/vaccines/stay-up-to-date.html;
  • Practice social distancing;
  • Wear a face covering while indoors with other people;
  • Use good hygiene regarding hand washing, coughing and sneezing;
  • Comply with public health guidance, and abide by local/state orders;
  • Abide by instructions given by Atlanta Ronald McDonald House Charities or event hosts whether verbal or in writing;
  • Do not attend the in-person event if you should be in quarantine or isolation based on CDC Guidelines (available at cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/your-health/quarantine-isolation.html).

Atlanta Ronald McDonald House Charities has made efforts to reduce the risk of transmission of Coronavirus/COVID-19 at the 2022 Golf Classic, to the extent of Atlanta Ronald McDonald House Charities control, but Atlanta Ronald McDonald House Charities cannot guarantee that you will not be exposed to coronavirus while attending the 2022 Golf Classic. By accepting Atlanta Ronald McDonald House Charities’ invitation to the 2022 Golf Classic, you are assuming the potential risks and agreeing to waive and release any claims against Atlanta Ronald McDonald House Charities related to coronavirus in exchange for the opportunity to voluntarily attend the 2022 Golf Classic.

We will continue to assess the situation which continues to change and evolve. The steps we will all take together will help ensure we are doing all we can to keep one another and the families we serve safe. Thank you for your support, understanding, and flexibility. We look forward to seeing you May 23!
