2021 Hearts and Hands Gala

Join us for the 12th Annual Hearts and Hands Gala, presented by The Coca-Cola Company, on Saturday, October 16.

Join us under the stars  for an unforgettable evening at the historic Donaldson-Bannister Farm in Dunwoody, Georgia, to celebrate and honor more than 40 years of keeping families close.

  • Shuttle Service Begins: 6 p.m.

  • Reception Begins: 6:30 p.m.

Evening highlights include:

  • Farm-to-table cuisine incorporating fresh ingredients from local farms with a Southern twist.

  • Entertainment featuring Atlanta’s Bogey and the Viceroy. Bandleader Bogey Thornton has been entertaining audiences for more than 15 years with his signature brand of swanky soul.

  • Our annual Wine Pull will offer guests the chance to win quality, high-value wines. You also don’t want to miss our live and silent auction with one-of-a-kind experiences.

  • Dress #FarmChic. Think dazzling denim & diamonds or your best Western wear. We will be on both pavement and grass so be sure to incorporate comfort into your style.

  • Meet a family who has stayed at the Atlanta Ronald McDonald House and learn how your support makes a difference.

  • Shuttle service to the farm begins at 6 p.m. from the guest parking lot less than half a mile from the farm.

COVID Safety Protocols

As part of our commitment to the continued safety of our guests, the families we serve, team members, and Charity volunteers, and in ongoing efforts to protect our community in preventing the spread of COVID-19, we are currently planning to implement the following enhanced protocols and procedures at the Hearts and Hands Gala.

Please contact Stephanie Block, Senior Director of Special Events and Community Engagement, with any questions. The virus and variants continue to change and evolve. Thank you for your cooperation as we really are all in this together.

  • After consulting with medical experts and abiding by CDC Guidelines, for everyone’s safety, we respectfully ask that all guests be fully vaccinated in order to join us under the stars on October 16.
Guests may be asked a series of health and wellness screening questions as well as have their temperature checked prior to entering the event.
  • While being outside is a safer environment to host gatherings, we encourage all guests to wear a mask when not eating or drinking. Each guest will receive a special edition Charity mask designed exclusively for Gala guests.
  • Hand sanitizing stations will be located throughout the farm. We will also have hand sanitizing products at dining tables, and high touch areas will be frequently disinfected.
  • Legendary Events, Active Productions, and Charity staff and volunteers will be masked for the full duration of the event.
  • The shuttle windows will be open for the short duration of the .4 mile ride to the farm. Guests will sit in every other row. The shuttles will be fully disinfected between shuttle rides.
  • If you or anyone in your party is experiencing COVID symptoms or has been exposed to a COVID positive person 3-5 days prior to the event, we ask that you do not attend.

We will continue to assess the situation which continues to change and evolve. The steps we will all take together will help ensure we are doing all we can to keep one another and the families we serve safe. Thank you for your support, understanding, and flexibility. We look forward to seeing you October 16 at the farm under the stars!
