SPECIAL EVENTS COORDINATOR

The Special Events Coordinator is integral to the success of Atlanta Ronald McDonald House Charities (ARMHC) and plays a vital role in advancing the goals of the Development Department. This position reports directly to the Director of Special Events to help ensure all events are successful and goals are met, with a focus on the management and execution of specific assigned special events, third party events, the Red Shoe Society and Future Leaders Board (Young Professionals), and providing support to the Director for signature annual events. The Special Events Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and growing the events in their portfolio. This position requires flexibility, excellent written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail, high energy and a passion for ARMHC and its mission.

FALL MARKETING & COMMUNICATIONS INTERN

The marketing & communications intern plays a supportive role to marketing & communications team. This position assists with the planning, development and execution of  the marketing strategy; drafts internal and external communications; and completes other administrative duties as assigned. Minimum of 10-weeks full time or part time is preferred, but not required. This unpaid internship is designed for undergraduate students or recent college graduates. School credit may be applied for this internship.

SUMMER VOLUNTEER SERVICES INTERN

The volunteer services intern plays a supportive role to the volunteer services manager and house team. This position assists in all aspects of managing, recruiting and training volunteers to House Management. Additional responsibilities include but are not limited to: providing tours, assisting families in family care and check-ins, special events, database entry, solicitations and administrative duties. Minimum of 10-weeks full or part time is preferred, but not required. This unpaid internship is designed for undergraduate students or recent college graduates. School credit may be applied for this internship.

SUMMER FAMILY SERVICES & HOUSE INTERN

The family services and house intern plays a supportive role to the house managers, families and children and volunteers. This position will assist in all aspects of assisting families staying at our House to aiding house managers and volunteers. Additional responsibilities will include but are not limited to: assisting families in family care and check ins, special events, database entry, and administrative duties. Minimum of 10-weeks full or part time is preferred, but not required. This unpaid internship is designed for undergraduate students or recent college graduates. School credit may be applied for this internship.
