Beth Howell

President & CEO

Beth Howell is charged with guiding the Charity and leading its growth. Most recently, Beth led the successful completion of a capital campaign to build a new Ronald McDonald House near Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta at Scottish Rite. A visionary leader, Beth has identified additional opportunities to magnify the Charity’s impact. Under her guidance, ARMHC has launched a new Ronald McDonald House Care Mobile, a 2020 Strategy and will continue to grow in 2017 with the launch of a Family Room.

Prior to her tenure at ARMHC, Beth worked with Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta for more than two decades.

MARKETING & COMMUNICATIONS INTERN
The Marketing & Communications intern plays a supportive role to marketing & communications team. This position assists with the planning, development and execution of  the marketing strategy; drafts internal and external communications; and completes other administrative duties as assigned. Minimum of 10-weeks full time or part-time is preferred, but not required. This unpaid internship is designed for current undergraduate students or recent college graduates. School credit may be applied for this internship.

SPECIAL EVENTS INTERN

The Special Events Intern plays a supportive role to Special Events Team. This position assists with the planning and execution of charity hosted fundraisers and third party events; assists with organizing and recruiting for auctions; highly encouraged to coordinate his/her own third party fundraiser in their community to raise awareness about ARMHC while interning; and completes other administrative duties as assigned. Minimum of 10-weeks full time or part-time is preferred, but not required. This unpaid internship is designed for current undergraduate students or recent college graduates with experience in events. School credit may be applied for this internship.

VOLUNTEER SERVICES INTERN

The Volunteer Services Intern plays a supportive role to the Volunteer Services Manager and House Team. This position assists in all aspects of managing, recruiting and training volunteers to House Management. Additional responsibilities include but are not limited to: providing tours, assisting families in family care and check-ins, special events, database entry, solicitations and administrative duties. Minimum of 10-weeks full or part time is preferred, but not required. This unpaid internship is designed for current undergraduate students or recent college graduates. School credit may be applied for this internship.

FAMILY SERVICES & HOUSE INTERN

The Family Services and House Intern plays a supportive role to the House Managers, families and children, and volunteers. This position will assist in all aspects of assisting families staying at our House to aiding House Managers and volunteers. Additional responsibilities will include but are not limited to: assisting families in family care and check-ins, special events, database entry, and administrative duties.  Minimum of 10-weeks full or part time is preferred, but not required. This unpaid internship is designed for current undergraduate students or recent college graduates. School credit may be applied for this internship.
