Meet Betty Lou, Atlanta RMHC’s Chief Happiness Officer, and Mabel, two certified Therapy Dogs who spread love and give joy to the families who rely on the Atlanta Ronald McDonald Houses.

- Ronald McDonald House near Egleston: 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Thursdays
- Mabel
- Monday-Thursday at either Atlanta House: 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The connection between humans and their dogs goes back as far as we can see. Now more than ever, we are discovering dogs’ abilities to perform a wide variety of tasks to assist humans in the work force. Betty Lou shines a light on the expanding role of therapy dogs to give health-enhancing encouragement and love to “children of all ages” all across America.
