Program Support Coordinator

The Program Support Coordinator, in the absence of the House Managers, Evening Managers, Night Managers or Weekend Managers, is responsible for the overall management of the Houses during assigned office hours. This person creates and maintains a warm, comfortable, and safe atmosphere for all Guest Families, volunteers and visitors at all times and offers support to both House Managers. The primary function of this position is to cover personal and vacation days for all House Staff shifts. This position is also responsible for supporting the Family Room during assigned hours to cover personal and vacation days for Family Room staff members as needed.

Facilities Coordinator

The Facilities Coordinator is responsible for assisting the Facilities Manager at the two Atlanta Ronald McDonald Houses and should be in the House Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. The primary function of this position is to perform light maintenance, as needed, and to perform routine inspections to ensure all building components are in proper working order and safety standards are met. Additionally, this person helps to create and maintain a warm, comfortable, and safe atmosphere for all guest families, volunteers and visitors at all times.

Senior Director of Strategic Partnerships

The Senior Director of Strategic Partnerships is responsible for the overall success of the Charity’s corporate, foundation, civic and special events fundraising with a long-range goal of increasing the organization’s visibility and generating sustainable annual income for the organization. The Senior Director of Strategic Partnerships is responsible for supervising Director of Special Events and the Corporate and Foundation Relations Manager. Key responsibilities include: prospect research, identification, cultivation, solicitation and stewardship; ensuring appropriate donor recognition. Additionally, the Senior Director of Strategic Partnerships works with the President & CEO, Senior Director of Major Gifts and Planned Giving, Capital Campaign Committee and campaign consultants to plan and execute the Capital Campaign.  This position requires flexibility, excellent written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail, high-energy and a passion for ARMHC and its mission.

Special Events Intern

Atlanta Ronald McDonald House Charities is seeking a Special Events Intern to focus on aspects of event planning for the charity, including guest logistics, vendor and donor communication, website copy and updates, database entry and other administrative duties. The Special Events Intern must be detail-oriented, a strong written and verbal communicator and passionate about the Atlanta RMHC mission.

Spring Family and Volunteer Services Intern

The Family and Volunteer Services Intern plays a supportive role to the House Managers and Volunteer Services Team. This position will assist in all aspects of assisting families staying at our House as well as managing, recruiting and training volunteers. Additional responsibilities will include but are not limited to: assisting our House team with family check-ins, attending special events, database entry, and administrative duties.

Being a nonclinical facility, our internships do not provide students with medical related or counseling opportunities. Our mission is to nurture the health and well-being of children and families through other forms of support, comfort, and activities.

Minimum of 10 weeks full or part-time is preferred. This unpaid internship is designed for undergraduate students or recent college graduates. School credit may be applied for this internship.
