30 Jan President & CEO to Retire This Year
A Message from the Chair of our Board of Directors
As Atlanta RMHC prepares for its next exciting phase, with a new vision and new goals, Beth Howell, who has led our Charity since 2013, has decided to retire.
Beth will continue to lead the organization until a new President & CEO is selected, which we anticipate will occur this summer. A search committee led by our Board is spearheading the process of identifying a successor. During the executive onboarding process, Beth will support the organization in an advisory role to help ensure a seamless transition.
We are so grateful for Beth’s leadership over the past decade. Highlights include:
- Completing the capital campaign and building the Peachtree Dunwoody House
- Launching our first Ronald McDonald Care Mobile in partnership with Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta
- Creating our first Ronald McDonald Family Room in partnership with Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta
- Expanding the number of families we can serve through our programs by 40 percent during her tenure
- Strengthening the financial position of Atlanta RMHC, with five years of consistent 4-star ratings from Charity Navigator, the highest rating a charitable organization can achieve
- Successfully navigating Atlanta RMHC through the COVID-19 pandemic
- Launching the largest capital campaign (to date) to build the new Druid Hills House
- Developing a strong and efficient staff who are ready to face the future growing annual fundraising to ensure the organization’s enduring ability to achieve its mission
Join us in thanking Beth for the dedication to Atlanta RMHC. We wish her well in this exciting next chapter for her and her family!
The future remains brighter than ever for Atlanta RMHC, and we greatly appreciate your continued trust and support of our mission.
Sincerely,
Grace Huang
