16 Oct Shop at Macy’s Through Oct. 31 and Vote for ARMHC
Now through Wednesday, Oct. 31, you can keep families stay close when you shop at any area Macy’s. Macy’s has asked the Atlanta community to decide which charity to support when shoppers make in-store purchases. You can help when you shop and vote for Atlanta Ronald McDonald House Charities.
When you make your purchases, you will receive a token to vote for ARMHC. The charity with the most votes will receive a $5,000 grant. The second place charity will receive $2,000 while the third place charity will receive $1,000.
“Everyone here in our Lenox store is really excited and happy to support Atlanta Ronald McDonald House Charities in helping kids and families in our community,” said Brian Williams, Macy’s vice president and store manager at Lenox Square. “All of our colleagues can relate at some level with the stress and worry that families go through when a child is dealing with a serious illness. Some of us have experienced it ourselves. “
“Macy’s is a great partner in our mission to nurture the health and well-being of the children and families,” says Marissa Greider, ARMHC director of development. “During the Great Give Back last month, Macy’s customers provided nearly 40 nights for families at our two Ronald McDonald Houses, keeping families close to each other and the life-saving medical care they need. Their support extends inside the Houses as well when the Macy’s design team decorates our Houses for the holidays.”
You can give families the gift of togetherness! Just do a little early holiday shopping and vote for Atlanta RMHC when you are at Macy’s in October.
“Knowing that we can help ARMHC provide the resources for those families when they need it most that is a powerful way for all of to feel like we are doing our part,” Williams said. “We thank you so much for what you do each and every day to support our community!”
