20 Mar Atlanta’s Anthony Edwards Receives McDonald’s All American Games Jersey
Anthony Edwards thought it was a normal Wednesday at Holy Spirit Preparatory School until he was surprised at the school assembly with his jersey for the McDonalds All American Games, which takes place on March 27.
He could not be more excited for this week of events and to have a chance to play in the McDonald’s All American Games. The entire faculty, Kimberly Nuckols, Atlanta Ronald McDonald House Charities vice president of administration, and Andrew Rebhun, McDonald’s marketing officer of the Atlanta Field Office, presented Anthony with his jersey.
During the assembly, Anthony’s basketball coach spoke about how life changing and important this game is.
“The ability to play in the McDonald’s All American Games is not an easy accomplishment and should not be taken lightly,” said basketball coach Ty Anderson. Anthony also has two other private basketball coaches, who mentor him. Coach Drew Banks and Coach Justin Holland came to support Anthony on this big day.
Anthony’s brother, Antoine; sister, Antoinette, and nephew, Jace, also surprised him and joined in the celebration as well.
