27 Sep Meet Peyton Price: Our Fall Marketing/Communications Intern
Peyton Price, a 2018 University of West Georgia graduate, joins us from as our fall marketing intern from Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta where she held a yearlong internship with the Volunteer Services department. She holds a bachelor of business administration in marketing and management.
When not working as a Starbucks barista and our intern, “I enjoy spending time with my friends, family, and fur child, Sadie. I love to travel, eat, and cheer on the Atlanta Braves,” Peyton says.
Atlanta Ronald McDonald House Charities interested Peyton because of the services we provide families.
“Before I started working at Children’s, I, like a lot of other people, never really thought about the extra costs families from out of town would have to endure such as places to stay, and food to eat,” Peyton says. “Once I learned about Atlanta RMHC, and the services it provides to the families, I realized how amazing and what a big help it is to the families with sick or injured children.
“The Ronald McDonald House provides a warm and comfortable place to sleep, freshly prepared meals, and fun activities for the families to enjoy,” she says. “Because of the services the Ronald McDonald Houses and the Ronald McDonald Family Room provide, parents are able to focus on their sick or injured child.”
Her favorite part about working at the Atlanta Ronald McDonald House is meeting the families. “Although they are all staying at the House for the same reason, what brought them here is so different and it’s always inspiring to learn their stories. I am so grateful to be a part of such a great cause and Charity.”
