Meet Christina Austin Smith, New Volunteer Services Coordinator

Welcome Christina Austin Smith, the new Volunteer Services Coordinator for the Ronald McDonald House near Scottish Rite.

An Atlanta native, Christina grew up in Southwest Atlanta and graduated from Georgia State University with a degree in English. Christina has worked in many client-facing roles, including 5 years of Inside Sales with Kloeckner Metals.

“The energy of the team and day-to-day activity at the House is exciting and keeps things interesting,” Christina says.  “I love greeting the volunteers and figuring out how to meet the daily needs of the families who rely on the Houses.”

When not helping families, she volunteers with Junior League of Atlanta and serves on its board. Christina also enjoys reading, attending concerts, spending time with her three cats, two chickens, and corgi, and watching Jeopardy with her husband.

“I am very purpose-driven and enjoy working for a cause, so Atlanta RMHC was a natural choice for merging my volunteering and professional journeys,” Christina says. “I believe in all that we do to help families as they navigate a difficult time and am thrilled to be on board!”
