For my Girl Scout Girl Award project, Today a Reader, Tomorrow a Leader, I held different fundraising activities and solicited book donations and was able to collect more than 200 books for the two Atlanta Ronald McDonald Houses.

I decided that I wanted to give back and so I set out on a campaign to fundraise for the Atlanta Ronald McDonald House. They say that it takes a thousand hands to build a house, but only hearts can build a home. This is what the Ronald McDonald House embodies – a home away from home where families can rest, recharge and find support.
