06 Dec Meet Jim Savage, Our New Facilities Manager
Jim Savage joins the operations team as facilities manager at Atlanta Ronald McDonald House Charities. Jim comes to us from MetLife in Cary, North Carolina, where he managed a team of 39 individuals, who were responsible for facilities management and security.
“Jim has a deep appreciation for the challenges our families are experiencing and is eager to show his compassion while ensuring that our Houses are safe and well-functioning,” says Justin Littlefield, our director of operations.
“When my youngest son required extensive care at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, we were able to stay at the Philadelphia Ronald McDonald House, Jim says. “I was able to see firsthand the generosity of this organization.”
Jim says it was that experience that drew him to Atlanta RMHC, as well as his experience at MetLife and as a police officer in New York City after September 11, 2001. Originally from Long Island, New York, Jim is relocating from Raleigh, North Carolina, with his family.
“I like being able to help families during difficult times and to maintain both Houses for them to use,” Jim says.
