10 Aug The Marena Group Donates Face Masks to Atlanta Ronald McDonald House Charities

Georgia-based company, The Marena Group, donated adult and child face masks to Ronald McDonald Houses in Atlanta, Houston, Los Angeles, Miami, and Phoenix, which have all been COVID-19 hotspots. Each Ronald McDonald House will receive 200 masks: 150 adult and 50 children masks.

“It takes the support of the entire community to do the work that we do. We are grateful for The Marena Group and their generous donation of face masks which will be used to keep families safe at our Houses here in Atlanta and at Houses throughout the country,” says Dee Dee Ebert, volunteer services manager at Atlanta Ronald McDonald House Charities.

The face masks were donated by The Marena Group’s customers through its website. There is a section on the website for customers to anonymously donate a mask and after a month of orders the Marena Group sends the masks to a charity. The Ronald McDonald House was the charity selected for July.

The Marena Group pivoted its production from post-surgical compression wear, active wear, and shape wear to reusable antibacterial nonsurgical masks for adults and children in April to help the public combat the COVID-19 pandemic.  The masks are made from a washable, reusable fabric with active silver antibacterial protection to help guard face, nose and mouth against the spread of respiratory droplets and splashes. With the release of these children’s masks, Marena ensures the whole family has properly sized, comfortable masks to stay healthy and safe.
