02 Jun Welcome Alicia, Alissa and Meredith to our Atlanta RMHC Team
This spring, Atlanta Ronald McDonald House Charities welcomed 3 new team members, Meredith Gray, Alissa Scherb and Alicia Hines. We are excited about their eager and passionate mindsets.
Alicia, a graduate of the University of Central Florida, is our new administrative coordinator and ensures our administrative team runs smoothly. She previously worked as an elementary and preschool teacher in Florida, South Korea and Texas. Her love for working with children and families led her to Atlanta RMHC. “I want to do my part to support parents and kids as they work on getting healthy.”
Meredith, manager of individual giving, graduated from Jacksonville State University. Previously with the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, Meredith is eager to meet our families and hear their stories of how Atlanta RMHC has helpedthem during such difficult times.
“I am also excited for the opportunity to build relationships with our donors and sharing the multiple ways that we serve families,” Meredith says.
The Corporate and Foundation Relations Manager, Alissa, is a graduate from the University of Minnesota. Wanting to serve a greater mission is what drew Alissa to the Charity.
“Upon sharing the news of my new role, I have had friends share with me their experiences staying at a Ronald McDonald House and what it meant for them to have a “home-away-from-home” during a difficult time in their life,” Alissa says.
All agree their favorite part of working at Atlanta RMHC is the team of co-workers.
“I love the excitement and collaboration around the office and the House,” Meredith says. “Everyone is so eager to support each other to raise more money and help more families. Everyone who works here has so much passion for the organization and it is inspiring and motivating to be in that environment.”
