Volunteer Spotlight: Laura Sadd

“Coming to the House every Tuesday is the highlight of my week.” — Laura Sadd

Laura Sadd started volunteering at our House near Egleston in September 2016 after being inspired by a friend’s wonderful experience with the Ronald McDonald House in New York. Laura helps us unload a large donation of wish list items that is delivered each and every Tuesday! She is a huge help with organizing donations and keeping the House in order. Laura is described by our Volunteer Services Manager as “a standout volunteer who makes every Tuesday so much better.”

Laura is inspired by the chance to see first-hand how volunteers and staff provide a comforting and caring environment for families to make them feel at home. She loves spending her time with us each and every week.

“Even though I am considered a volunteer, I too benefit from being around and supporting such courageous and inspirational families.”

We continue to be inspired by Laura’s dedication and passion for Atlanta RMHC and are so thankful to have her support! It wouldn’t be Volunteer Appreciation Month without honoring her hard work and huge heart!
