14 Mar Georgia Tech Football Players Score with Kids at Peachtree Dunwoody House
It was a touchdown for the children staying at the Peachtree Dunwoody House on March 5 when four Georgia Tech football players, Steve Dolphus, Juanyeh Thomas, Jordan Huff and Christian Campbell, hung out for an “early season” tailgate. The kids could not wait to show them around the House!
There was so much joy and laughter playing video, games corn hole and dancing. Special bonds were also formed between the players and the families. Christian Campbell shared his personal testimony with a child who has experienced countless struggles with her legs.
“I also had a lot of surgeries growing up,” said Christian, then he shared his story about about having multiple spine surgeries. One mom surprised her son at home and Facetimed so the players so he could talk to them and share video game usernames to keep in touch.
