14 Dec Festival of Trees
Atlanta Ronald McDonald House Charities is excited to be a participant in the Festival of Trees this year at the Embassy Suites Hotel Atlanta-Centennial Olympic Park through Jan. 1, 2015. This is the hotel’s first annual festival, a charitable event sponsored by the hotel and other Atlanta-area businesses, and is sure to be a new holiday tradition in Atlanta.
“I can’t think of a more wonderful way to celebrate the holiday season than providing a way to support these organizations at this special time of year,” said Dale Gustafson, Director of Sales and Marketing for Embassy Suites Hotel.
Cornerstone Christian Academy Fifth Grade Students, along with their teacher, Katie Trapani, worked hard to decorate a gorgeous ARMHC themed tree to compete in this year’s Festival of Trees. The tree is decorated with student-drawn pictures of Ronald McDonald Houses around the world and little wooden houses with strings of hearts. Admirers will be able to “vote” for their favorite tree by donating money at each tree. The tree with the largest monetary donations will receive the Grand Prize of an additional $1,000 for their organization!
Please drop by with your friends and family now through December 17th to enjoy a cup of hot chocolate and vote on our beautiful tree to win this year’s Grand Prize donation. To vote for our tree, take the donation envelope to the Embassy Suites Hotel’s Front Desk and place it inside the Gingerbread House Lock Box.
