Thirty One bags with girls

THIRTY-ONE GIVES

Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC) is grateful for its donors on a national and a local level. This year, RMHC began a partnership with Thirty-One Gifts, a fast-growing, direct selling company that offers a wide variety of stylish and customizable products, including totes, purses, home organizers, and more. Thirty-One Gifts is committed to community service and volunteer initiatives.  Just two years ago, the company started a new campaign called Thirty-One Gives. Thirty-One Gives is an initiative to support non-profit organizations across the globe that strive to strengthen families, empower women and girls, and change lives. Thirty-One Gives selected three organizations to create and sustain partnerships. The organizations were selected based upon their mission statements, which are required to compliment the Thirty-One Gives “three pillars of support”: the support of women, the support of children, and the support of families. RMHC was selected to fulfill the family pillar because of its commitment to improving the health and well-being of both children and their families.

Through their support, Thirty-One Gives has committed to donating $450,000 monetarily over the next three years, and 150,000 welcome bags for families staying at a Ronald McDonald House. Not only have they pledged these donations, but they also encourage Thirty-One Gifts consultants to reach out to their local RMHC chapters and get involved.

On a local level, ARMHC was lucky enough to receive over 2,200 totes from Thirty-One Gifts in December, and has welcomed many Thirty-One Gifts employees into the Houses for volunteer activities including preparing meals and hosting activity nights. “Thirty-One Gifts offers a unique form of support for families experiencing challenging times,” says ARMHC Volunteer Services Manager Caroline Mealor. “At Atlanta’s two Ronald McDonald Houses, we are honored to partner with Thirty-One Gifts and the Thirty-One Gives program.”
