30 Dec McDonald’s Restaurants support families during the holidays
Over the holidays, a McDonald’s truckload of toys and household supplies from Messer and Messer, LLC was donated to serve the families of our Atlanta Ronald McDonald Houses! The donation included fun toys and gifts for boy and girls of all ages.
Ashley Spence is the Area Supervisor for Lynn Messer Hawkins McDonald’s restaurants in Metro Atlanta. She started this donation drive program in the Dacula community three years ago to help families in need that stay at our “home-away-from-home” during the holiday season.
“We made a ‘Wish Tree’ that had ornaments featuring items from the Ronald McDonald House wish list. Customers were invited to take the ornaments and on their next visit to the restaurant, they brought back the items to donate to the Ronald McDonald Houses. After the first successful fundraiser in 2013, McDonald’s Owner/Operators, Paul and Lynn Messer, took the donation drive to all 20 of their locations! Our community was thrilled to participate and make a difference for the ARMHC families,” Ashley said.
We are thankful for the support of Messer and Messer, LLC as well as all McDonald’s Owner/Operators that help us keep families close when it matters most!
