About a year ago, a group of students at The University of Georgia created their very own RMHC chapter that has already accomplished so much, both on and off campus, all with the purpose of support our families.
On campus, they have raised funds for Atlanta RMHC through multiple restaurant give-back nights and a Car Smash during finals week. They also collect thousands of pop tabs and delivered them to our local Houses to be recycled and generate funds for our mission. Yet their most favorite contribution of all is that of their time!
The club members of UGA RMHC enjoy visiting our two Atlanta Houses and prepare meals for our families. As a group, they’ve made it their goal to consistently come up with new, creative ways to raise funds in order to continue to come back to our Houses to donate their time and love to our families.
