21 Jul Special Delivery From Super Baskets of Hope

Last week former NFL football players and Super Baskets of Hope volunteers DeAngelo Hall and Ronnie Heard surprised families at our Ronald McDonald House with their very own super baskets! Super Baskets of Hope is an organization that provides thoughtful gift baskets to children with serious illnesses and their families. Each RonaldMcDonald House child received a hand packaged gift basket filled with toys and crafts while their parents received baskets filled with much needed supplies.

The gift baskets were assembled during this year’s Super Bowl by current and former NFL players and their families. Thousands of baskets were created and sent to NFL cities across the country to be hand delivered by NFL players.  DeAngelo Hall, Ronnie Heard and their families delivered the gift baskets to our “home-away-from-home” and spent quality time with our families and children. The delivery was filled with smiles, laughter, hugs and a lot of encouragement!
