15 Mar Alpha Delta Pi: A tradition of love
Volunteering at our Houses is something the women of the Greater Atlanta Alpha Delta Pi Alumnae love because they believe in the power of togetherness. Their sorority’s motto, “We live for each other,” echoes Ronald McDonald House Charities’ mission of keeping families close when it matters most. They love playing a small part in the journey of each family they meet while volunteering.
Taco bars, soups, sandwiches, and Sunday brunches are just a few of the delicious meals that these women serve at our two Houses. They make an effort to visit each of our Houses once a month for a special meal. During their visits, they also bring an opportunity for the family to build community with each other and have some fun! The group often hosts games of bingo, manicures, or craft night during their evenings with us too!
Ronald McDonald House Charities has been Alpha Delta Pi’s official philanthropy partner for more than 30 years, but their commitment to serving Atlanta RMHC families runs deeper than monthly service activities. Some sisters volunteer more frequently and some have even benefited from staying at a Ronald McDonald House with their families when they were younger.
We’re so thankful for the on-going support and love provided by these amazing women! Thank you for making our House feel like a HOME to our families.
