Volunteer Natalie

Volunteer Spotlight: Natalie

The word volunteer means the world to the Atlanta Ronald McDonald Houses. Our volunteers provide courage, love and compassion to the families we serve.

One of our volunteers, Natalie, provides all of that and more! Natalie has been inspired by Ronald McDonald House Charities and its mission for years. However, a recent move into the city of Atlanta provided her with the opportunity to get involved.

“I had a friend years ago who volunteered at the house in Dallas, TX, and I’ve always remembered how fondly she spoke of being there,” Natalie said.

Natalie has always been involved in volunteer activities through her daughter’s school and truly enjoys making others smile. Since last year, Natalie visits our House near Egleston every Tuesday afternoon to offer her help around the House. From cleaning the kitchen, checking families in, or playing with the kids, she does it all!

“I love talking with the kids, and usually end up wearing a sticker that one of them has given me or playing hide and seek while on my volunteer shift,”  Natalie said.

It means the world to us to have amazing volunteers like Natalie that believe and assist in our mission as much as we do. We are truly grateful for Natalie and her passion to join us in keeping families close. We can’t wait for many years to come with her by our side!
