Forty-three years ago, my brother Marcus stayed at the original Atlanta Ronald McDonald House while undergoing successful treatment for childhood leukemia. I remain forever indebted to this caring charity for helping him through this challenge!

Community

My neighborhood, Historic Brookhaven, hosts numerous fundraising events annually including a tour of homes and dinner parties. Also, my Brookhaven neighbors volunteer their time at the Ronald McDonald House near Scottish Rite. I value being a good neighbor and want to do my part!

Professional

McDonald’s is a major customer for my employer, Georgia-Pacific. McDonald’s is of course a significant contributor to Atlanta RMHC. What’s important to my customer is important to me! 

Each of these reasons has its own merits and reason enough for my involvement. The combination of all three make it irrefutable!
